Collecting Tears, 2022
BA Graduation Work, Installation, Performance"Collecting Tears" is a speculative design project that explores the possibility of using tears to transform human beings in the year 2050. This project envisions a future where a resource crisis has led to the rise of decentralized capitalism and questions of social justice.
Through extreme and absurd examples of posthuman societies, "Collecting Tears" challenges the audience to consider how their attitudes towards biological transformation may evolve in the face of a resource crisis. Should individuals use their biological advantages for personal gain, or for the greater good of society? The project encourages reflection on these complex ethical questions and prompts discussion on the potential impact of technological advancements on humanity.
