Zhefan Gu 顾哲凡 was born in Jiangyin, China and is based in Berlin. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from the University of Applied Sciences Berlin, and is currently pursuing MA in New Media at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
Zhefan's artistic practice revolves around an exploration of the intricate relationship between individual and group identity. Her work spans interactive installations, audiovisual performances, and experimental Performance Art. Through the interdisciplinary approach, Zhefan invites her audiences to question and reflect on the social norms, values and conventions of contemporary society.
